The large range of Lombard pre-Alpine mountains has always characterised the Milan landscape, clearly visible in the sky of Lombardy of Manzonian memory and often cited by artists who lived in Milan, from Leonardo da Vinci. Mount Barro stands at the centre of an arc ranging from the Corni di Canzo to the Grigne and the Resegone: unmistakable profiles of the Lombard skyline. The Resurrection of the Barro resuscitates in memory what identifies «that sky of Lombardy, so beautiful when it is beautiful, so splendid, so peaceful».
