Venice is a city very dear to me and that I often visit. Venice recalls a little the city of Milan in what is the charitable spirit with its many brotherhoods of assistance to the poor and the sick. And among these locations stands out one, the church of the Abbey of Mercy and the old School of Santa Maria della Misericordia, once home to the brotherhood of the Battuti, active from the beginning of 1300 to the beginning of 1800. This devotion to charity and assistance through the Schools of Venice is very close to the religious and charitable spirit of Milan and it is for this reason that I chose this iconography as the identifier of Venice. And in the Resurrection of Mercy the buildings mentioned and the water element that characterizes this unique city of water in the world are recalled in shapes and colors.
